Collection of 53 high-quality photographic plates by various artists. Includes a Preface and Introduction; chapters on Landscape; Shore and Lake Scenes; Architecture and Street Scenes; Portraits and Figure Studies; Still Life; and The Camera: A Cultural Influence, plus an Index of Names, Titles of Pictures, finishing with eight pages of advertisements.The front boards is stained and chipped at the edges and the last advertisement for photographic pamphlets has loss along the inner edge, the missing section glued to the back paste down.
