FIRST ED, INSCRIBED "With Best Wishes . . . 1930" BY AUTHOR AND ACTOR NOEL COWARD, ALSO INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY GERTRUDE LAWRENCE (in pencil), ADRIANNE ALLEN (in pencil, too), LAWRENCE OLIVIER and EVERLEY GREGG. Also signed by recipient, who adds "London, 1930" on one page, and on another writes "November 29th 1930" on one page, and on another writes "November 29th 1930, Phoenix Theatre, London Eng." This was the debut run of Coward's PRIVATE LIVES (it only ran with this cast until December 1930).
