First edition, first printing, number 30 of 75 copies, signed by the author in paint; 8vo; rear pastedown with hand-painted limitation, scattered light spotting to text block and endpapers, else unmarked internally; original boards hand-painted by Patchen, some chipping to paint at spine and rear cover, else very good. One of 75 copies prepared and painted by the author, of which this is number 30. Kenneth Patchen was an American poet and novelist who was known for experimenting with different forms of writing and incorporating painting, drawing, and jazz music into his works.
