xvi + xxviii +420 pp.; xvi + 288 pp, clean unmarked, 2 engraved bookplates in each vol., excellent condition, original full leather restored spine & corners with original spines laid down [ie not C19 or modern rebinds], clean text internally. Austin Dobson's pencil notes at front of each vol. Dibden wrote in l824, p.727 'there is one, and only one critical or complete edition of his works worth possessing, and that is of the date of 1779, 8vo in 2 vols.'
