Very Good- condition 1st Edition/1st Printing hardcover inscribed and SIGNED by Richard Carlyle on the first free endpage. Inscription reads, "To Earl Everett with profound friendship, Richard Fredric Carlyle, Oct 18, 1939." Book is square and sound. Aside from inscription, spotless inside with no creases, marks or damage to pages. Book's exterior equally clean. No bumped corners but significant rub wear along top edges, bottom edges and fore-edges. The two top cover corners are worn to the boards. All else in lovely condition.
