Some lifting of cloth to upper board, edges of text block lightly browned, with hint of foxing to top edge, a few light spots to endpapers, but internally generally fairly bright and clean. Presentation copy, inscribed by Greene to ffep "For Donald affectionately from Graham", with a textual correction by Greene to page 32, with 'Wyde' crossed through and 'wide' written in the margin.
