9.5 x 6.5", vellum backed cloth, 198pp, minor cover wear else very good condition in splitting and chipped box. Tipped-in at rear is a copy of a 2p typed letter sent to Gordon Grand from James V. Stewart, dated March 1, 1939 in which he congratulates Grand on his "outstanding portrayal of a rare soul" (Redmond C. Stewart). He tells Grand that he was in the First Division with Stewart in Montabar, Germany and that Stewart taught him how to ride.
