An outstanding association copy and a genuine presentation copy, linking two of the preeminent American authors of the 20th Century. Also laid in a Knopf presentations slip saying the book is being sent "With the compliments of the author." First Edition stated on the copyright page and first issue dust jacket. Millar has signed the front free endpaper and made 5 pencil notations on the front free endpaper. 3 typos and 2 quotations of phrases he appears to find interesting.
