The book has been hand signed by the author, and personally inscribed to "The First Lady, Eleanor Roosevelt" on the front free end page in black ink. The title page has staining on it and there are a couple pages with minor dings. The hardcover book is free from rips, tears, bends and writing. All pages are lightly toned. The boards are in good condition with light wear and a spots. The edges of the spine are bumped. The binding is tight and square.
