Beschreibung
[nice clean book, very light handling wear only]. Trade PB SIGNED by the author/poet on the title page, beneath which he has also written "Castine / Maine / 1990." "The poems that compose [this book] -- generous selections from six previous books and wonderfully vigorous new poems -- describe and illuminate the still unfinished arc of Philip Booth's work, reflecting inward and outward changes yet sustained by a resilient sense of place." That place was, in fact, Maine itself -- according to Wikipedia, Booth (born in New Hampshire) lived a substantial part of his life in Castine, Maine, "in a house that [was] handed down through his family for five generations." Signed by Author. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 23350
