The dust jacket is first state without the Booker flash, not faded on the spine as usually encountered. The dust jacket s spine has the tendency to fade into pink and eventually white colour which is not here the case. Kazuo Ishiguro is one of Britain s best writers of the past four decades. He has been accoladed multiple times and is read in schools and universities as part of an English degree. The Remains of the Day was adapted as a film starring Emma Thompson and Sir Anthony Hopkins.
