First edition, hardcover, inscribed by Mitgang on the first free end page, the book has mild bumps to the spine ends, minor rubbing to the covers, age toning to the head of the text block with a pale speckling across the half nearest the spine, and age toning along the fore edge of the first and last free end pages. Overall, a solid, Very Good copy in a like, unclipped dust jacket, which has mild bumps to the spine ends, light wear to the cover corners and edges with a short tear to the head, rubbing to the covers with a few faint smudges to the back, and minor sunning to the spine.
