After a small print run, it was later released in the USA under a new title matching that of the film adaptation: EYE OF THE NEEDLE. The original 1st issue DJ was issued with a price for UK editions and without a price for those early printings to be exported. Both DJs are accepted as 1st issue. An Edgar Award winner. As for condition, there is a gently bumped corner (barely). Light shelf-rubbing. Top page edges are darkened. A couple of age spots within and along page edges. Sparse foxing. Light handling to black cloth. As for DJ, there are 3 tiny chips to foot/crown of DJ edge. 2 tiny chips to flap fold corners. Speckling to gold titles. No printed price on the dj flap.
