This is a UK first edition hardcover published by New English Library in 1976 AND SIGNED BY JAMES HERBERT DIRECT TO THE TITLE PAGE WITH INSCRIPTION. The jacket is rubbed to the top corner tips and there is a small chip to the back panel by the top of the spine. Otherwise it is Fine and unclipped (�4.50 UK only), and bright / unfaded. The book is Near Fine with straight spine, sharp corners and lightly softened spine ends you can ONLY See if you remove the jacket. The page edges are lightly toned as is the norm due to the poor quality paper used. The copyright page confirms the first publication in 1976. Bestandsnummer des Verk�ufers 017046
