Signed by Ann Bridge on the front free endpaper with dedication and dated in 1967. Second printing from 1949 of a book first published by Evans earlier in the same year. The boards have a small piece missing from the surface at the bottom right corner of the rear panel but are otherwise unmarked. Browning to the page edges with some scattered spotting to the bottom and fore edges. Spotting to the endpapers and a little creasing and slight chipping to the maps at the back of the book. The pages are a little browned but are otherwise clean and unmarked. The jacket has two quarter inch chips out of the top edge of the spine which is browned with some staining and fading to the red lettering. Small chips out of the top edge and the bottom right corner of the front panel. There is a little chipping at the corners, a three inch closed tear at the top of the rear panel and a half inch closed tear to the bottom edge. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 018675
