1923 FIRST PRINTING of First USA Edition with 1923 date on title page and on copyright page. Original green cloth, gilt blue black decoration front cover, gilt lettering spine. SIGNED "from "Chuck" ' on the FFEP. The handwriting is definitely that of the author (verified by comparing with several examples of Saunder's inscriptions). Former owner names penned above Saunder's signature (one has been crossed out) and old bookseller small ticket pasted to corner of rear pastedown otherwise no previous owner writing or marks on any pages, clean covers, some dulling to spine gilt but title still legible, no foxing, solid binding.
