Signed by Anderson on the front endpaper. A stage play in three acts, "Tea and Sympathy" premiered on Broadway at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre on September 30, 1953, in a production directed by Elia Kazan. The play starred Doborah Kerr, Leif Erickson and John Kerr.
