The dust jacket is in two parts with 1) the front jacket cover and spine and2) the rear cover each housed and protected within ultra clear polypropylene 100% archival safe, acid free (no pvc) bags (see photographs).The blank front and rear endpapers are lightly age - darkened and foxed and page 145/146 has a crease at the lower corner; all other pages are in fine condition and the binding is exceedingly tight and square (see photographs). The blank first free front endpaper contains a former owner signature and an exceedingly rare vintage October 2, 1925 GEORGE DORAN (publisher) SIGNATURE. The upper right corner of the page contains a vintage small 1/4 inch circular red, white and blue sticker with the letter "A". The full title page contains the black-and-white octagonal "GHD" colophon symbol, with the verso containing a "B", presumably indicative of the First American Edition.
