Published in 1992 in an edition of 1800 by Fuji Television Gallery, Ltd. 4to, white stiff card wrappers with printed dust jacket, 108 pages, illustrated throughout., with text in Japanese and English. Tetsuya Noda (b. 1940) is considered to by Japan s most important living print-artist. He is best-known for his visual autobiographical works done as series of woodblock, print, and silkscreened diary entries capturing moments in daily life. His innovative technique involves scanning photographs through a mimeograph machine and then printing the images over an area previously printed by traditional woodblock techniques onto the Japanese paper. Inscribed on the front free endpaper to renowned art critic Dore Ashton and her second husband, Matti Megged; along with his signature is his thumbprint in red. In original slipcase. NF wrappers.
