Houdini had suggested, during this voyage, that he would like to perform to raise funds for the seaman's charities by jumping overboard while handcuffed, but the captain decided that it was too risky in the shark-infested waters. The book is in great shape. The binding is tight with NO cocking or leaning and the boards are crisp with minor wear to the boards.
