Hardcover. Zustand: Near Fine. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. 1st Edition. Inscribed Copy of the First/Limited Edition of this short work by Graham Greene. Produced in a limited edition of 250 with a number of copies presented, like this one, by Greene to friends and acquaintances. The inscription reads "For Eric, with love, from Graham, Christmas 1960." Adjacent to the inscription, someone other than Greene has written in pencil "Strauss." British psychiatrist Eric Strauss had a long and consequential association with Greene and certainly would have been a candidate to receive one of the Christmas 1960 Visit to Morins. However, we don't have information to associate this copy with Strauss, other than the penciled "Strauss" which we theorize was the handiwork of a past owner/collector or bookseller. Cloth, 26 pages, includes silk ribbon marker. The book itself shows minimal sign of previous use. The dust jacket has some smudging on the front cover and a bit of tanning on the back cover.
