Two-tone quarter cloth and marbled boards, [10], 206 pp. A great Mountain Man classic. "Wolf Song is considered by most critics to be his best novel . indeed, some have called it the finest novel of the American West. It tells the story of a mountain man, Sam Lash, loosely modelled on Kit Carson." A beautiful Fine copy. The spine of the rare and fragile slipcase is split completely along the fore-edge and the spine ends, but holding along other edge, otherwise shows some light soiling.
