Deighton's sixth novel, a comedic thriller featuring a con artist threesome. Originally published in a spiral-bound edition of 150 copies exclusively for distribution by the author, to establish copyright protection while he negotiated a movie deal that never materialized. This is the first hard cover trade edition, printed in an edition of 9,000 copies. About fine in boards in a near fine dw with some light wrinkling and wear to the edges of the spine, and a tiny chip atop the spine.
