Unclipped red/yellow illustrated dust wrapper is a professional reproduction that shows rubs and color loss at tips and spine ends. It is 95% there and displays well in new mylar. Author's 1st book about a family that moves cross country from the East to Cody, WY and the horse-crazy children want their own horses. It is a warm story of holidays and picnics in the hills, rivalry and friendship with neighboring children of the Wild West Show held every summer, and most important of all, how Bobby won his horse in an essay contest and then helped his sister Alice to get hers.
