Poem (The Sum of Poetry) by Frederick Bock written on back side of first blank page. May or may not be by Avison's hand. Letter, in envelope, written in 1962. Contents of letter deal with spending time with her ailing mother in Galt, Ontario; Coleridge; and in her own hand she mentions FB (Frederick Bock) staying in town. This is poet's first book, in which she was awarded the Governor General's award for poetry. Letter is in very good condition.
