There is a small "C" stamp on the title page, but no other wear or marks. The red & green covers are fresh, with very minor wear at tips and corners. The dust jacket is price-clipped, but is otherwise in excellent condition, with no wear. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: When Bob Royle arrived in Burgess High his plan is to blend in. But on his first day, Carl Reimer grabs him, crashes a remote-control airplane in the lake behind his house, and wants him doing things he thought he would never do. So much for blending in. Carl is weird, but Bob discovers that he's really smart, in his own way. So what that Carl's hero is Admiral Horatio Nelson and that he is obsessed with joining the Navy and fighting a good war? But finally when Carl asks Bob to do something he is not sure he should do, he understands that his friendship with Carl has a far greater effect on his feelings toward everyone around him.
