Tom Weber published his first biography of his father, The Christmas Doctor: The True Story of Dr. J. P. Weber, in 2013. His work drew praise from critics, celebrities, and many readers. It was reviewed by The Bridge: Journal of the Danish American Heritage Society, North Idaho Family Magazine, The Lewiston Tribune,the Idaho County Free Press,and the Lewis County Herald.

Weber has been interviewed about his work by KMA Radio in Shenandoah, Iowa; KGAL Radio in Lebanon, Oregon; KBYR Radio in Anchorage, Alaska; and KROC Radio in Rochester, Minnesota. Portions of The Christmas Doctor has been read by Robert Mitchum, Joan Rivers, Peggy Lee, Tony Randall, Martin Sheen, Clive Cussler, Vince Bugliosi, Joan Didion, and others.

Weber grew up in Idaho. He received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Brigham Young University and a JD from the University of Utah.
