Dana Killmeyer was born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1978. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1999 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in fiction writing. She spent two years living and working on farms before she returned to Pittsburgh. Paradise, or the part that dies is her first novel.
