Cºncluida la guerra y emancipados los Estadºs Unidos, Muranda dejo de ser sol dado para convertirse en apóstol renun ció su empleo, regresó Europa, y ehgien do para su residencia el país que mas ha lago ofrecía su sublime qmmera, estable 01630 en Inglaterra. Ahí le encontramos en 1784, y el año subsiguiente, cuando el capitan venezolano contaba solo 28 años, un periódico inglés (1) le señalaba como un huésped importante, y se dema por la prensa la primera palabra que acaso se oyera, y no sin asombro en la publicidad del mundo, sobre la emancipacion de las colonias españolas.
