Biografía del autor:
For nearly three decades, I've been helping new project managers become more effective. Through my books, articles, workshops, websites, and public speaking appearances, I've tried to demystify project management (PM) and make it accessible to everyone. My step-by-step PM texts have been adopted by many universities, businesses and public sector organizations. For many years, I managed teams of contractors working with new product developers to create training and performance improvement systems for major corporations such as Xerox, Epson America, and Apple Computer. The projects I planned and coordinated were as simple as a single resource working for 3 weeks and as complicated as 60 people working for more than a year and a half. Deliverables ranged from simple documentation to transcontinental satellite broadcasts incorporating pre-produced video sequences, live executive speakers, and real-time competition among problem-solving teams located all over North America. In recent years I've focused on providing workshops & consulting support to help organizations improve their PM processes, as well creating print & media materials to support PM. See my website for free articles, links to YouTube videos, and info about my customized PM workshops & webinars. If you have comments or suggestions about this book, I'd love to hear from you!
