Born and raised in Newark NJ, on September 29. I'm a Wife, Mother, Author and Grandmother. I lived in the projects, majority of my childhood life. Living in the projects, wasn't bad at all. Some of my best moments were growing up in the projects. At the age of 16 my mom, moved us out the projects and moved us down the street into a 3 family home. There are seven of us all together, 2 girls and 5 boys. Yes! I'm the oldest. At 17, I met my boyfriend; at 18, I was having my first child. Seven years later at the age of 25, I had my second son. April of 2005, I and my long time boyfriend decided it was time to get married. June 2005 tragedy hit home, my youngest son was diagnose with Leukemia/Cancer. On December the 18th, 2005, 2 days after his 12 birthday he passed away. He will always be in my heart, I Love & Miss You Shakil!
