Diann Banks, (Ellerbe, Haywood) is a motivational speaker, singer, and writer. Trained in special education, business administration, editing, public speaking, choral singing, dramatic acting, and leadership, she received a letter of commendation for mentoring from Alan Greenspan, former Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board and an award on volunteerism from President Barack Obama, January 2013. Diversity marks her life: Ms. Senior DC Pagaent, 2012 outstanding mentor recipient. Ms. Congeniality 2011. University of the District of Columbia graduate WKYS 1986 Mashed Potato Lady self-acclaimed "hardest working woman in D.C. 1987" a production clerk/typist, legal/senior executive secretary, acting congressional assistant, medical biller/coder, telephone interviewer, retail/direct sales executive, census enumerator, actress, voice-over/background recording artist, demo/ jazz /gospel singer, cruise ship performing server, fun director, and substitute teacher. Diann is a newly wed. On March 21, 2013 at the age of 63, she did not say "I do" rather "Yes, Forever" to 'Raymond Banks. Neither Diann or Raymond have children.
