From Silicon Valley to Northern Virginia, Jay Buckner has been involved in technology marketing for more than two decades. He served as the director for the first USAID sponsored agriculture fair in Herat, Afghanistan. In his spare time this native of Brooklyn has authored a number of books as well as several plays, and received recognition in the one-act play contest of the Actor's Theater of Louisville. His plays have enjoyed productions off-Broadway in New York as well as Hollywood. In other lives he was a National Park ranger and a lifeguard at Rockaway, Queens. Jay now lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia to be near his children and grandchildren. Chesapeake, his adorable Portuguese Wonder Dog is his delightful companion, freely offering humor and perspective.
