Julian Armstrong is food editor of The Gazette of Montreal, Quebec's largest English-language daily newspaper, and a respected Quebec culinary authority. She has been reporting on food in Canadian newspapers and magazines for more than 40 years and has won journalism awards in the United States and Canada. She makes her home in Montreal, but spends much of her time tasting her way around the province.
