Marcus Sedgwick is an award-winning author whose books have been short-listed more than 30 times, including for the Carnegie Medal five times, the Edgar Allan Poe Award twice, and the Guardian Children s Fiction Prize five times. He has also received the Printz Award, the Booktrust Teenage Prize, the Blue Peter Book Award, and a Printz Honor. He was a writer in residence at Bath Spa and has taught creative writing at Arvon and Ty Newydd.
