The book about the famous lake at the heart of the eponymous Crater Lake National Park in Oregon, was published in 1942 by Caxton Printers of Caldwell, Idaho. The book is illustrated with 15 halftone photographs, three of which are in full color (These three, which includes the frontispiece, are printed on calendered paper). It's a lovely book - one to be cherished. On the front end-papers is a brief signed inscription in ink by Mrs. Vivian C. (Spencer) Miller. ***************************************** The Chapters are as follows (The first is a long poem by Mr. Dunham recalling Indian legends.
