Soft cover. Zustand: Fine. 1930s, 24pp, photographs, tables etc, card covers. In excellent condition, the covers a touch grubby. In 1934 Cape Town Tramways decided to change their public transport system from tramcars to trolley buses and placed an order for 50 vehicles (30 double deckers and 20 single deckers) from Ransome Sims in Ipswich. This booklet tells the story of the background to the project, the building of the vehicles and their shipping and delivery to Cape Town in 1935. A rare survivor it seems, no other examples are recorded on Library Hub. UK postage for this item will be lower than the ABE default rate.
