Hardcover. Zustand: Fine. Quarto. 196pp. Loose sheet laid into a black folder and spring binder with spine label. Hint of toning and stamps on the first page (see below), else fine. Signed and dated on the title page by Albee. A photocopy of an typed playscript made from an original held by the New York Public Library. Library stamps above and below the title have been crossed out in pencil and stamped "DUPLICATE" underneath. At the bottom are two additional stamps: "Gift of Lee Sabinson" (a blacklisted Broadway producer) and the mailing address of Theater 1962 on West 46th Street. A book seller price sticker on the inside rear cover notes: "$20.00 signed Can be inscribed to buyer by Mr. Albee for $40.00 total." It seems the price was too much. A play by about a young couple living beyond normal mean due to the wife working as a prostitute. Adapted by Albee from a play by British playwright Giles Cooper.

Unbound. Zustand: Fine. Typescript. Quarto. 47, 50, 74pp. An early, photomechanically reproduced copy with a few scattered ink corrections throughout, though not necessarily in Albee's hand. The first few leaves slightly toned, else fine. An English play adapted by Albee and Signed twice by him, at the beginnings of Act One and Act Three. Albee revised the play several times and again after Cooper was killed in an accident. Said Albee, "I can only say that our work has become enmeshed to the point that I can no longer tell where his leaves off and mine begins." While the play was something of a failure at the box office and with critics, its film rights were sold for a modest profit.
