Andersen's Fairy Tales by Hans Christian Andersen, 1945 Edition, Published by Grosset & Dunlap This is a collection of 29 stories by Hans Christian Andersen translated by Mrs. E.V. Lucas and Mrs. H.B. Paull and illustrated by Arthur Szyk. This book contains many fairy tales you are familiar with from childhood: The Ugly Duckling, The Emperor's New Clothes, The Princess and the Pea, and The Snow Queen. There are of course many that you may not know until after you have read them. This would be a great book to read from share with your children at bedtime! Inside the front and back covers have the name of an obvious child written, but this is the only places this appears. The spine is tight. The pages are all clean with a bit of aging at the edges. 8 1/2 x 5 3/4 inches.
