Bell's work is subtitled "Proofs of design in the animal frame, the perfection of design in the bones of the head, spine, and chest, shown by comparison with architectural and mechanical contrivances". Dr. Wyman's part is subtitled "on the cancelled structure of some of the bones of the human body or of those bones which have a definite relation to the erect position which is naturally assumed by man alone".
