Hardcover. Zustand: Near Fine. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Near Fine. 1st Edition. First Edition (Number Line to 1). Terrific looking book. Take a look at the photographs. The covers are spotless. They have little to no wear. The book is square, tight, and very solidly bound. It is Signed and inscribed by the editor on the front free end paper. No one has written their name or anything else anywhere else in the book. There aren't any markings or attachments. The pages are exceptionally clean. I didn't see a spot of soiling. I didn't see any creases or dogeared corners. The Dust Jacket is in excellent condition. It is NOT price-clipped. The flaps look perfect. The jacket doesn't have any tears. It doesn't have any soiling. The spine ends look great. The corners look great. I had the dust jacket fitted with a protective cover. I've removed it to scan photos. I'll put a new one after that is done. You may notice that in the first photograph of the front of the dust jacket that the blue is not solid throughout. That is simply the design of the jacket. Gabor S. Boritt is the Robert C. Fluhrer Professor of Civil War Studies and Director of the Civil War Institute at Gettysburg College. Inscribed by Author(s).
