Zustand: Good. 1968. 6th Edition. 562 pages. This is an ex-Library book. Blue jacket over blue cloth. Library copy, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Black and white photographs within. Pages are clean and bright, and appear almost good as new. With minimal tanning throughout. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light wear to unclipped dust jacket with tears, nicks and creases to spine, edge and corners. Light tanning to spine and edges. Dust jacket attached to boards and protected by plastic wrapper.

From the library of S. H. Gruber with his leather label mounted under the title on the front cover, his signature with the date July 18th, 1882 on the front endpaper and an additional signature on the flyleaf. This work is dedicated to Sir Vincent L. Hurlbut, Grand Master of the United States. A note indicates that the Grand Commandery Knights Templar of the States of Wisconsin and Vermont have adopted the tactics and drill here set out. The compilers write in their preface that their tactics can be easily understood by those unfamiliar with military terms but would meet with the approbation of military men. Rare.
