Book has light bumping at the head and tail of the spine. White endpapers. Binding is straight and tight. Pages are all clean, white, and crisp. 190 pages. Dust Jacket - Top 2" of the head of the spine is chipped away. Jacket is also missing a triangular piece about 1 1/2" deep at the tip of the upper rear outside corner and a smaller triangular piece at the rear corner of the tail of the spine that's about 1/2" deep. Just a trace of rubbing along the upper and lower edges in a couple places. Original $3.00 on the lower corner of the front inside flap. Despite the missing pieces, the jacket is bright, and has a nice overall appearance.

Charles Dumoulin, né à Paris en 1500, mort en 1566 est un jurisconsulte français. Charles Du Molin ou Charles Dumoulin ou Carolus Molinaeus (en latin).Il est connu pour ses prises de position en faveur du gallicanisme (organisation d'une église de France sur le modèle anglican). Il marqua également son opposition au calvinisme dont il dénonça la dérive autoritaire. À la fin de sa vie, il se déclarait luthérien.
