Paperback. Zustand: Good/Acceptable. Original and complete suite of twelve color plates, issued on heavy paper and bound with very stiff card covers with two punch holes for a string or ribbon binding (now missing). Square size 11 3/4 x 11 3/4 with image sizes approximately 9 1/2 x 9 1/2. The front cover is embossed figures of two women and colored copper; the title page is mostly described in the above sub-title; third sheet is a description (Contents) of the Town and Country plates, theme names and artists. There are seven artists with several plates done by the same individual. The following plates are issued Jan & Feb., March & April, etc. Two plates each, with different "town" and "country" themes and images. FAULTS: cover page is very soiled from contact with moisture, and rear cover is only lightly soiled. A few of the punch holes show some stress and one hole is cut through to the edge. Light damp-staining on the lower right corner areas of the title and contents pages, less visible on three colored plates, very faint discoloration on two more. Last two plates show some age discoloration, but light (by comparison with the other plates). Some light wear to edges noted also, but not severe (no folds or tears to any plates).
