Hardcover. Zustand: Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Good. 1st Edition. Small 4to. Black cloth. Unpaginated (288pp.). In parallel text; the translation follows the sound, rhythm, and syntax of Catullus' Latin, 'tries, as is said, to breathe the "literal" meaning with him'. There were also 100 special copies. Spotted to the edges (primarily the head edge) and prelims, the cloth quite faintly mottled, the jacket accordingly rather spotted to its reverse, otherwise more moderately so to peripheries, and slightly rubbed for example to the spine ends, though presenting well enough. With the errata slip tipped in, and the publisher's sticker to the jacket's front flap. Lacking the slipcase.
