Brown Cloth-backed Boards. Zustand: Good-VG. 1st Edition?. In Fraktur font, am baffled by 'Aufsake' but that's what it looks like though is not in my dictionary. 298 pp., ex-Royal College of Surgeons lib. with their round stamp+withdrawal overstamp on t.p., top contents (Inhaltsverzeichnis) p. and centre t.p.to part one,C.S.Sherrington's sig.top half-title, internally clean, tight and otherwise unmarked, endpapers clean with uncracked gutters, a few trivial traces of erased pencilled price or lib.markings to fr.; brown gilt-lettered boards with black cloth sp., clean and a virtually unworn but faint label ghost below title to fr. and label ghost top sp.affecting author's name. Bound-in cloth place-marker. Somewhat disturbingly I see the book is dedicated to Houston Stewart Chamberlain. Early work by this influential proto-ethologist all of whose pre-Great War texts appear to be very scarce. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range. Size: 15 Cm x 22 Cm.
