Clean, tight, square and bright copy bound in light gray cloth with red and blue title on spine and cover, and two-color illustration on cover. Book has lightly dinged top forecorner, 1/4" blue smudge on front cover, and PO's name on ffep, which has bled onto front pastedown. Interior is crisp, clean, and unmarked. Dust jacket is clipped, heavily worn and chipped on top edge, with missing 1 1/2" at head and foot of spine, 3" closed tear to front panel, worn at all corners. Jacket is protected in mylar. Gogo is an epicurean seagull, feeding on scraps from the cruise liner "Queen of France." Marianna makes friends with Gogo on the journey to America, looses track of him in New York harbor, and is reunited with the bird after his many adventures.
