Ignatii in quavis domo Societatis Jesu quarto quoque menso confici solebant, ut rerum, quae pro Dei gloria gererentur, notitia primum ad Superiores, - deinde ad reliquos Societatis homines perferretur. Sapienter hunc morem induxerat Ignatius, quo et fraterna inter Nostros charitas foveretur, et ad strenue in vinea Domini laborandum exemplo snorum fratrum quivis excitaretur. Habet lector in quatuor editis voluminibus eas litteras quadrimestres, quae tempore S. Ignatii aut paulo post, ad ñuem usque anni I 556, scriptae fuerunt.
