Dark maroon coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the backstrip. Colour illustrated dustwrapper with black colour titles to the front panel and white coloured titles to the backstrip. An early book on Australian conservation and what costs human activity has had on an ancient land, and, more importantly, what the various contributors suggest as solutions to problems caused. A little rubbing to the backstrip edges and to the book corners. Very light aged toning of the textblock edges with the occasional, very occasional, foxing spot.
