Adaptando el patron establecido por la obra maestra espanola Lazarillo de Tormes, se publicaron dos continuaciones de la misma, una en 1555 y otra en 1620. Sin embargo, tan solo la obra de 1620 ha adquirido reconocimiento literario. El presente analisis se ocupa, principalmente, de la primera continuacion - la de 1555 - acentuando su valor para el genero picaresco. La revalorizacion se concentra en dos aspectos: primeramente, su valor como obra literaria, y segundo, como enlace que vincula al Lazarillo de Tormes con la obra de 1620.
